Privacy policy

This describes what the site collects and what we do with it. Written to be read, not to be impressive.

What this site collects

These pages run no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no third-party cookies. There is no tracking pixel and no session recording.

Two third parties are involved when you use the site:

• Google Fonts serves the typeface. Your browser requests the font files from Google, so Google receives your IP address as part of that.
• Stripe handles payment. Starting a checkout takes you to Stripe's own page, where you enter your details.

The site stores one thing in your browser: your light or dark theme preference. It never leaves your device.

Payment information

We never see your card details. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's page, handled by Stripe, and never touch our servers. We receive confirmation a payment succeeded, the amount, and the email you gave at checkout.

If we email you first

We contact local businesses whose details are publicly listed — name, address and phone number published in open business directories — to offer a service we think is relevant.

Every email identifies who we are, includes our postal address, and contains a working way to opt out. If you ask us to stop, we stop — and we keep a record of your address specifically so we never contact you again. That suppression record is the one thing we keep indefinitely, because deleting it would risk contacting you a second time.

If you become a customer

We keep what we need to do the work and meet tax obligations: your name, business and contact details, the content you send for the site, and a record of payments. Financial records are kept as long as the law requires; the rest for as long as you're a customer.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Not to anyone, at any price.
• We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We don't use it to train anything.

Your rights

Email hello@getdigitalcraft.online and we'll tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, and we'll honour them.

Hosting

The site runs on Google Firebase Hosting. Standard server logs, including IP addresses, are generated and retained by Google as part of that service.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it.
